Since my last post a lot has changed.
I FINISHED all of my graduate coursework and have begun the last leg of requirements to become an OT. I have 23 weeks of fieldwork between me and my diploma. Week one behind me already! It was exhausting. My body is not used to being active for that many hours per day, but I am getting used to it and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. A classmate of mine is there with me and we are getting good feedback from our clinical instructors. We are leading sessions, writing notes, and participating in everything we can.
Jonathan and I spent Thanksgiving with his family in Nashville and Christmas with my family in Wichita, Kansas! I absolutely LOVED getting to see my parents, sister, and sweet niece for a week. She is growing up so fast and I can't wait until she is old enough to come spend a week with Aunt Rose, Uncle Jonathan, and Aunt J. (who will all spoil her rotten before we send her home). Jonathan and I are now sporting our new cowboy/girl boots that mom and dad got us for Christmas. I also got a ticket to see Rascal Flatts with my bff in February! Jonathan got me a new Bible with my "new name" on it! Rose Davidson is official ladies and gentlemen.
We enjoyed watching two of our closest friends be united in marriage last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. LaBrun! It's official!! :)
I had my "last" official day as Rose the childcare giver. BUT you and I both know that nothing will keep me from the children that I dearly love. I miss them already!!
Today Jonathan and Jocelyn are both ill with the cold/congestion nonsense. I laugh b/c I was the first in this marriage to sleep on the couch. Poor JD couldn't breath last night and was snoring like a saw. Gotta love him.
This weekend has been a lazy one. Enjoying it while we can. We have so much planned for the coming weeks. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful Christian friends to fill our calendars with events together.
That's all for now... Maybe I'll get better at blogger...
